Farming Sanctuary NY Visit

This summer, Johnny and I spent six week road tripping across America. The first stop of our journey was the Farming Sanctuary, located in western New York.  The farm has been set up to educate the public about the terrible ways factory farmed animals are treated, as well as the benefits of turning to a plant based diet. We had a wonderful day, and especially loved hanging out with all the animals, including a rather playful turkey named Serpentine and the giant Cow featured below named Thunder!  Here is the website link to the farm.  Please, take a look.

The sanctuary also has two other locations in California.  Hopefully, I will visit them soon.  If you can't make it to either Farming Sanctuary, please look up the animal rescue center in your area, because I am sure they will be happy to educate you, and you may even be able to lend a helping hand. Johnny and I  just signed up to help out at our local Humane Society for Animals, which we are very excited about!
